What is a Fire Inspector?  It could be a fire department position, fire sprinkler contractor, fire alarm contractor, or kitchen fire suppression contractor.  All of these are “Fire Inspectors”, just their duties are different.  And, there may be more.

This program takes a look many of these inspector positions, the qualifications that are recommended or required, and the competencies necessary to do the job satisfactorily.  Included, is a review of applicable codes and standards and how each of these may be applied and any limitations of these codes.
